The Creative Pixie Knitting and Crochet Podcast: Episode 9 – The one with the cute amigurumi.

Hi I’m Jean and I’m coming to you from sunny Belfast in Northern Ireland.
In this episode I share:

Works in progress: an update on the 2021 temperature blanket, I started a new cowl, following the Snuggle Down Cowl pattern by Jooles at Sew Sweet Violet
I’m working on another Autumn the Bear Girl amigurumi doll, this time for my youngest daughter. The body has been crocheted and i just have to crochet the clothes and then she’ll be complete.

Finished objects:  Cute baby guinea pigs amigurumi (we followed the pattern which was featured in the bookazine Create with Crochet issue 58. A project bag made following this video tutorial was made with the fat quarters featured in Episode 8 and a quick crochet bunny rabbit that I created in a tutorial for in a previous video.

The crochet bunny was so quick to make, it only took me 1 hour plus it’s simple enough for beginners to make.

Stash enhancement: DK sparkle sock yarn from Gamer Crafting in the Inifinite Goat Portal colourway.

Beautiful Blankets, Afghans and Throws book by Leonie Morgan.
